Fees Arrears Calculation Tutorial

Log in to the SIPSNITYA portal, choose the Accounts module, check the current fees details, etc., See if the arrears collection type is enabled, else please, move to masters collection type and enable, this is only required if you want to categorize all arrears into one head (let us refer as Arrears). otherwise, you can make this to any other collection type, once you are done with it, please move to fees masters, arrears calculation, the interface is very simple, just click on add new button, please choose the Academic year from which you want to push the arrears, then select the academic year to which you want to attach these arrears, also select the collection type now choose the save button, the system will start calculating the arrears, it may take few minutes depends upon how many students/fees heads, etc. once the process finishes, it will come back to the previous screen. now check it over fees collection interface all the arrears start appearing against the applicable students, try for the payment here you can see all the arrears, which was pending fees to collect from last year is appearing here, head wise. now you can move on and enable the collection both manually and online mode.
